About Quote / Estimate Generator
A quote (or estimate) tells a potential customer what a job will cost before they agree to it. It sets expectations, prevents disputes about price and makes your business look organized and trustworthy.
Add your logo and details, the customer, the items or services with quantities and prices, taxes and a validity date that shows how long the prices are guaranteed. Then print it or save it as a PDF to send by email or WhatsApp.
When to use it
- Contractors, builders and repair services pricing a job.
- Agencies and freelancers proposing project costs.
- Wholesalers and suppliers responding to price requests.
- Event services such as catering, decoration and photography.
Tips for better results
- Always set a validity date, especially when material prices change often.
- Break the work into clear line items so the customer can compare options.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a quote and an invoice?
A quote is an offer to provide goods or services at a stated price, valid for a limited time. An invoice is a request for payment after work is done or goods are delivered.
Can I convert a quote to an invoice?
You can copy the details manually into the Invoice Generator tool on this site. Direct conversion between tools is not yet supported.
Does data leave my browser?
No. The quote is built entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to any server.
Is a quote legally binding?
In many countries an accepted quote can form a contract, while an estimate is understood as an approximate price. Use clear terms and a validity date, and check local rules for large or regulated work.
How long should a quote be valid for?
Commonly 14 to 30 days. Use a shorter period if your costs change quickly, such as for imported materials or fuel-dependent services.
