Privacy Policy
Effective October 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information GenZCoders collects when you use genzcoders.com — including our free online tools, digital products and contact forms — how we use it, which third parties are involved (including Google for analytics and advertising), and the choices you have.
1. Information You Give Us
We collect the information you choose to submit, including:
- Contact form enquiries (name, email, and optional company, phone/WhatsApp number, budget, service and message)
- Job applications (name, email, phone, position, portfolio link and your message)
- Tool requests (the tool you would like, a description, and optionally your name, email and WhatsApp number)
- Newsletter sign-ups (email address and the page you signed up on)
- License purchases (name and email, collected and processed by Paddle.com as our payment processor)
When you submit a form we also record your approximate country, derived from your IP address, and a one-way hashed version of the IP address used to prevent spam and abuse. We do not store the IP address itself with your submission.
2. Our Free Online Tools
Most of our tools — including the PDF, image, text, QR code, calculator, security, resume and business document tools — run entirely in your web browser. Files you open and text you type in these tools are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.
Some tools need a server to work:
- AI writing tools send the text you enter to our AI providers (Google Gemini and Groq) to generate the result. We do not save that text. We keep only a daily usage count linked to a hashed IP address to apply the free daily limit.
- SEO tools that analyze a web page fetch the public URL you enter from our server. Results are cached for a few minutes so repeat checks are fast, then discarded; we do not keep a history of the pages you analyze.
- The currency converter downloads exchange rates directly from ExchangeRate-API (open.er-api.com); the amount you convert stays in your browser.
Please avoid entering passwords, payment card numbers or other highly sensitive information into AI tools.
3. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the website we collect standard technical information to understand how the site is used and to keep it secure, such as the pages you view, the tools you use, the referring website, your browser and device type, screen size, approximate location (country, region and city) and internet provider — looked up from your IP address at the time of the visit — and time spent on a page.
We store a random identifier in your browser’s local storage so we can count visits and tool usage without identifying you personally. IP addresses used for analytics are stored only in a one-way hashed form.
We also use Google Analytics (see section 5), which collects similar information using cookies.
4. Advertising (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to show advertisements on some pages. This helps us keep our online tools free.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at https://www.aboutads.info/choices or https://www.youronlinechoices.eu.
- If you opt out, you may still see ads, but they will not be personalized.
Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent message before personalized ads or advertising cookies are used, and can change their choice at any time using the privacy and cookie settings link on the page.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our partners use the following types of cookies and browser storage:
- Essential: remembering your light/dark theme preference and keeping you signed in to areas that require a login.
- Analytics: Google Analytics cookies and our own anonymous visitor identifier, used to measure traffic and improve the website.
- Advertising: Google AdSense and its partners’ cookies, used to show and measure ads and, where you have agreed, to personalize them.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how some features work. To opt out of Google Analytics on all websites, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on from https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
