Higher levels survive more damage or dirt but make the code denser. M suits most uses; use H for print on rough surfaces.

About Wi-Fi QR Code

Typing a long Wi-Fi password is frustrating for guests and customers. A Wi-Fi QR code lets them connect by pointing their phone camera at it — the phone reads the network name, password and security type and offers to join.

Enter your network details, choose the security type and download or print the code. It is generated in your browser, so your password is never sent to our servers.

When to use it

  • Cafés, restaurants, hotels and waiting rooms.
  • Offices and co-working spaces for visitors.
  • Guest Wi-Fi at home or in rental apartments.
  • Events, workshops and classrooms.

Tips for better results

  • Create a separate guest network so visitors cannot reach your private devices.
  • Print the network name under the code as a fallback for older phones.
  • Regenerate and reprint the code whenever you change the password.
  • Network names and passwords are case-sensitive — enter them exactly.

How to use the Wi-Fi QR Code

  1. Enter the network name and password.
  2. Choose the security type (usually WPA/WPA2/WPA3).
  3. Print it or show it on screen for guests to scan.

Frequently asked questions

Are these QR codes free for commercial use?

Yes. Use them on menus, packaging, flyers, cards and websites — no sign-up, no watermark and no limits.

Is my data uploaded?

No. The QR code is generated entirely in your browser; what you type is never sent to our servers.

Is my Wi-Fi password safe?

The password is only written into the QR image on your device — it isn't sent to or stored on any server. Anyone who scans the code can see it, so only share it with people you'd give the password to.

Which phones support Wi-Fi QR codes?

The camera apps on iPhone (iOS 11+) and most Android phones (Android 10+) can join a network straight from the code.

What if my network is hidden?

Tick the hidden network option so phones know to look for a network that does not broadcast its name.

Which security type should I choose?

Most modern routers use WPA2 or WPA3, so choose WPA/WPA2/WPA3. Use WEP only for very old routers, and “none” only for open networks without a password.
