About QR Code Generator
A QR code stores information that a phone camera can read in a second — a web link, Wi-Fi login, contact card, WhatsApp chat, email, phone number, map location or plain text. They are everywhere: menus, packaging, posters, business cards, invoices and event tickets.
This generator creates static QR codes, which means the information is encoded directly in the pattern. There is no tracking redirect, no account and no expiry: the code works for as long as the information in it is valid. Customize the colors, size and error-correction level, then download a PNG for screens or an SVG for sharp printing at any size.
When to use it
- Restaurant menus, price lists and product packaging.
- Posters, flyers and banners that link to a website or sign-up form.
- Business cards that save your contact details in one scan.
- Shop counters with Wi-Fi access or a WhatsApp chat link.
Tips for better results
- Keep strong contrast — a dark code on a light background scans best.
- Print at least 2 × 2 cm (about 0.8 inch); larger for posters scanned from a distance.
- Use SVG for print so the code stays sharp at any size.
- Always test the printed code with two different phones before mass printing.
How to use the QR Code Generator
- Pick the type of QR code.
- Fill in the details — the preview updates as you type.
- Adjust size, colors and error correction, then download PNG or SVG, or print.
Frequently asked questions
Are these QR codes free for commercial use?
Yes. Use them on menus, packaging, flyers, cards and websites — no sign-up, no watermark and no limits.
Is my data uploaded?
No. The QR code is generated entirely in your browser; what you type is never sent to our servers.
Do these QR codes expire?
No. They are "static" codes: the content is stored in the pattern itself, so they work forever and don't depend on our website.
PNG or SVG?
Use PNG for websites, documents and social media. Use SVG for print and signage — it stays sharp at any size.
What is error correction?
Error correction lets a QR code still scan when part of it is dirty, damaged or covered. Higher levels make the code more robust but also denser. Medium is a good default; use high for codes printed outdoors, on curved surfaces or on materials that may get scratched.
Can I change the link after printing?
No. Static QR codes contain the information itself, so it cannot be changed later. If you think the link may change, point the code to a page on your own website that you can update or redirect.
