Enter your cost and markup percentage to get the selling price, or enter a cost and a selling price to find the markup. The tool also shows the profit and the matching margin.

Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate markup?
Markup % = (price − cost) ÷ cost × 100. A product costing 50 and selling for 60 has a 20% markup.
How do I price with a markup?
Price = cost × (1 + markup ÷ 100). A 20% markup on 50 gives 60.
How do I convert markup to margin?
Margin = markup ÷ (1 + markup). A 25% markup equals a 20% margin, and a 100% markup equals a 50% margin.
Can markup be over 100%?
Yes. A 200% markup means the price is three times the cost. Unlike margin, markup has no upper limit.
