About Website Analyzer

A website audit looks at everything that affects how a site ranks, loads and keeps visitors safe. The Website Analyzer checks on-page SEO (title, meta description, headings, canonical and robots tags, social tags, structured data, image alt text, links, robots.txt and XML sitemap), speed and Core Web Vitals, accessibility, the SSL certificate and security headers, the technologies the site uses, and its domain and DNS setup, including SPF and DMARC for email.

Each area has its own tab and score, with issues listed before warnings so you know what to fix first. Performance, accessibility and best-practice results come from Google Lighthouse, which loads the page in a real browser, so sites built with JavaScript frameworks are covered too. Download the full report as a PDF to share with a client or developer.

When to use it

  • Auditing a new website before launch.
  • Finding why a page is not ranking or not being indexed.
  • Checking client websites before an SEO proposal.
  • Reviewing competitor pages for missing optimizations.

Tips for better results

  • Fix issues before warnings — they usually have the biggest impact.
  • Write a unique title and description for every important page.
  • Use exactly one H1 that describes the page topic.

How to use the Website Analyzer

  1. Enter the website or page URL you want to check.
  2. Click Analyze website. SEO, security and tech results appear in seconds; performance and accessibility take up to a minute.
  3. Use the tabs to review each area, fixing red issues first, then warnings.
  4. Download the PDF report to share it, then run the analysis again after your changes.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Website Analyzer check?

On-page SEO (title, meta tags, headings, canonical, structured data, robots.txt, sitemap), performance and Core Web Vitals, accessibility and best practices from Google Lighthouse, security (SSL certificate, HTTPS redirect, security headers, mixed content, cookies), the technologies the site uses, and domain registration and DNS records, including SPF and DMARC.

What are the scores?

The SEO and Security scores are GenZCoders technical assessments, weighted by importance. Performance, Accessibility and Best practices are Google Lighthouse scores from a simulated mobile test. None of them is a Google ranking score, and results can vary between runs.

Does it work with JavaScript sites built with React or Angular?

Yes. The SEO tab reads the page’s HTML, and Google Lighthouse also loads the page in a real browser, so the performance, accessibility and rendered-page SEO checks see content built with JavaScript.

Is the security check a vulnerability scan?

No. It is a passive check of what any visitor’s browser can see: the certificate, HTTPS setup, response headers and cookies. It does not probe the server or try to find vulnerabilities.

Do you store the sites I analyze?

No. Results are kept in a short-lived cache for a few minutes so repeat checks are fast, then discarded.

Will fixing every issue get me to the top of Google?

On-page SEO is the foundation, but rankings also depend on content quality, relevance, backlinks and competition. Fixing technical issues removes barriers so good content can rank.

How often should I check my pages?

After every significant change, and a general review every few months. Themes, plugins and content edits can accidentally break SEO tags.
