About PIN Generator

People choose predictable PINs — 1234, 0000, 1111 and birth years are among the most common. The PIN Generator creates random 4, 6 or 8-digit PINs and can skip weak patterns automatically.

Generate one or many PINs at once and copy the one you need. Generation happens in your browser.

When to use it

  • Bank cards and mobile banking apps.
  • Phone and SIM card locks.
  • Door entry systems and safes.
  • Temporary access codes for staff or guests.

Tips for better results

  • Use six digits instead of four where possible — it is 100 times harder to guess.
  • Do not use dates, phone numbers or repeated digits.
  • Never write your PIN on or near the card it protects.

How to use the PIN Generator

  1. Choose the PIN length and how many you need.
  2. Keep "Avoid weak PINs" on to skip common patterns.

Frequently asked questions

Which PINs count as weak?

Repeated digits (1111), straight runs (1234, 9876), repeating pairs (1212), four-digit years from 1900–2099, and a list of the most commonly used PINs.

Are the PINs random?

Yes. Each digit is chosen with your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator. Nothing is sent to a server.

Is a 6-digit PIN much safer than a 4-digit one?

Yes. A 4-digit PIN has 10,000 combinations; a 6-digit PIN has 1,000,000 — a hundred times more.

Are the PINs stored anywhere?

No. They are generated in your browser and never sent to our servers.
