About Date Difference Calculator
The Date Difference Calculator counts the time between two dates in days, weeks, months and years, and also gives the number of business days (Monday to Friday). It handles leap years and different month lengths for you.
Choose whether to include the end date — important for things like leave requests and rental periods where both the first and last day count.

Frequently asked questions
What counts as a business day?
Monday to Friday. Public holidays are not excluded because they differ by country.
Should I include the end date?
Include it when counting days of an event (e.g. 1–3 March is 3 days). Leave it off for elapsed time (1 → 3 March is 2 days).
How many weeks are between two dates?
The calculator divides the total days by seven and shows full weeks plus remaining days, so you get an exact answer rather than a rounded one.
Does it account for leap years?
Yes. February 29 is counted correctly in leap years.
